Selected Obituary Index

This link is to an index of selected obituaries from Pinellas County, Florida, mainly from the St. Petersburg Times. The list is large, but not exhaustive. You can request a copy of an obituary by sending a letter to PGS, 120 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771 containing information about the individual’s death and a $10 donation for each lookup. In your request, mention that the name was found in the index. If the name you are interested in is not in the index, you can still request the research.

St. Petersburg Times Obituary Index, 1990-1992

Former PGS Linda Carpenter created a complete index for obituaries that appeared in the St. Petersburg Times 1990-1992. The index contains 65,531 names that appeared in all of the editions of the newspaper, including those published for other counties in the region.
