Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg has been canvassed and the headstone information is in the process of being transcribed and indexed. Due to the large size of the cemetery, it will take some time to complete the index for the entire cemetery. In order to provide information in a timely manner, PGS is publishing the records for each division as it is finished. As additional divisions are completed, they will be added to the index for this cemetery and the date of the update will be noted below. [NOTE: Memorial Park will not be added to the Cemetery Master Index with the records from all of the cemeteries that we have canvassed until all of the indexing for this location has been completed.]
Due to the large number of interments in this cemetery, the index has been divided into surname letter groups [NOTE: See below for information on headstone photographs]:
Memorial Park is the first cemetery in which PGS volunteers took photographs of all of the headstones or name plates that could be found at the time the cemetery was canvassed. Due to technical issues that we are still working on, those photographs are not yet available on the website. We will have these online and linked to each entry as soon as we are able to provide them. Until then, if you find a relative in the Memorial Park Cemetery Index and wish to obtain the associated photo, please send a message that includes the Name of the deceased, the Cemetery Section, and the Photo Name provided in the index using our Contact form and we will send it to you via email.
